Creating Bevels, Borders and Inlays
Where you have had to cut into a coloured cork tile, create your own bevel by sweeping the edge of the tile with a piece of fine grit sandpaper. Then apply the touch-up paint from underneath the bevel, you have been supplied. It is easiest to apply the colour with a rag. Borders and In-lays: Many home owners want to include the use of an inlay – Planks make perfect inlays, border or key squares into their floor. You are charged per lineal meter for inlays and borders and per cut for key squares. The new cork plank 900 x 100 x 6mm is ideal for use as inlays and borders. It comes with a bevel on the 2 long edges.
